Blender Bottle Baby Pancakes

Are any of your other Messy Haired Moms out there sick of doing loads and loads of dishes everyday? I do at least two loads A DAY and there’s only three of us. I am always trying to find new ways to cut back on doing so many dishes and this recipe was perfect for that! I call these Blender Bottle Pancakes! A few months back, I had a goal to get in really good shape. Of course as soon as I joined a gym i found out I was pregnant the next week. I know you can work out while pregnant, but already not being much of an exerciser, I was afraid to put too much strain on my body. (maybe that was just my excuse) I bought two 28 oz blender bottles off Amazon for protein shakes. My husband still uses them at least once a day, but I wanted to find some kind of use for them at home other than my chocolate milk making addiction.

DIY Monster Sensory Noodles

Bring these babies to a play date and you’ll be voted Mom of the Year. And the best part is? They’re SUPER easy to make. I know, us bloggers all lie through our teeth and say everything is super easy! Well this is one you will want to try. Plus, it’ll keep your littles busy for atleast 5 minutes. If you’re lucky like I was, it kept mine busy for about 30 minutes. He absolutely loved these. And to be honest, so did I! You can also pop them back in the fridge and re use for the next day but just dont rinse them too much or the colors will get muddy and dull looking. Unless you’re cool with that.

Our New Bundle

I am so extremely excited to share that we will be expecting a new bundle in May 2016! I must say, this pregnancy has definitely not been a walk in the park. I seriously envy the women who are able to enjoy their pregnancies and then miss being pregnant. That is NOT me. I am not a fan of being pregnant. If I had to describe the feeling, I’d say it’s closest to feeling a really bad hangover that doesn’t end. Ask my college roommates. I’m the worst person to be hungover! But through it all, I know how worth it will be in the end and when we look into our little ones eyes for the first time.

Our DIY Dream Wedding

Hey guys! I am so excited to share with you something I have been waiting to share for months now…Our wedding! I wish I could go back and re-live every moment of that day. It was such a magical night, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I’d like to mention that I was extremely nervous about how the day was going to turn out. A week before the wedding, you would find me in my living room crying my eyes out frantically checking all of the weather updates for May 20th. 98% chance of rain and thunderstorms. ALL DAY. Normally, for a wedding, this would be an easy fix. Just move the wedding inside. Well of course I planned a DIY wedding and chose a venue with no indoor option. Oh yeah, and I also didn’t order a tent! I was so set on the fact that I wanted our wedding to be under the stars. The anxiety of that whole week working up to May 20th was overwhelming. Finally, I just let go, and let God take it in his hands. On May 20th, I don’t think there was a single cloud in the sky all day. It was the most beautiful day and night to have a wedding on the beach. I truly feel like God was on our side that day!

Roe’s Birth Session

I had the privilege of photographing and witnessing (other than my own) live birth today. It was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I literally was sobbing my eyes out and was really hoping I wasn’t going to miss any good shots. The human body is so incredible, especially what a woman’s is made to do. I hope you enjoy the photos! Welcome to the World, Jason!

Sweet Potato Smoothie

One last recipe today! This was to die for. So glad I tried it. I was a bit apprehensive to put a sweet potato in my smoothie for some reason. WHAT WAS I THINKING? While Cal has been sick this week, I wanted to get him some extra vitamin C. I forgot to pick up some OJ from the market so my friend Patty suggested a sweet potato to give him his vitamin c. Who knew sweet potatoes were packed with vitamin c? Oranges get all the credit!

UPcycled Formula Containers

Last night I finally got to finishing this project that I’ve been putting off for a bit, and I couldnt be more excited to share it with you! I love these containers that our formula comes in. They are so durable and even waterproof from the outside. (I know this because I leave one outside with all of my clothesline pins in it. South Florida rain is no joke! and It’s completely dry inside.) I have a ton of scrapbook paper that I figured I’d use.

Biscut Apple Mushroom Stuffing

Hey guys! After trying this homemade stuffing or “dressing” recipe, you’ll never want to buy the box ever again. It was just as quick to make, except it tasted 50000x better! I paired it with roasted chicken, fresh summer corn, and some cranberry sauce. I couldn’t get enough of it, so I made a thanksgiving quesadilla the next day….I hope you enjoy 🙂
