Biscut Apple Mushroom Stuffing

Hey guys! After trying this homemade stuffing or “dressing” recipe, you’ll never want to buy the box ever again. It was just as quick to make, except it tasted 50000x better! I paired it with roasted chicken, fresh summer corn, and some cranberry sauce. I couldn’t get enough of it, so I made a thanksgiving quesadilla the next day….I hope you enjoy 🙂

Makes enough for 2-5 ppl

  • 5-6 leftover biscuts pulled apart into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup celery (diced)
  • 1/2 cup onions (diced)
  • 1 cup mushrooms (diced)
  • 2 cups apples (diced)
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • ( OPTIONAL: I added a dash or two of some cajun seasoning to give it a little zip)
  • s&p to taste

  • Chop up celery, onions, mushrooms, and apples and throw it into a pot with a small amount of EVOO
  • Add a bit of S&P and saute for 10 minutes or until onions and celery are cooked through
  • Add your chicken stock and simmer for a minute or two
  • Add your biscut pieces (you can use any type of bread you have)
  • Mix it all together and cook a minute until it has that “stuffing like” texture
  • Serve with turkey or chicken and a little gravy!
  • (you can also add bits of dried cranberry if you like) I will be trying that next time
